“Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust engaged Active Research in the summer of 2011 and again in February 2013 to help it understand the dental bay requirements for a new dental hospital and school of dentistry by gathering data at two mini exhibitions by dental chair and equipment manufacturers.
Active Research, and specifically Karen Pearson, brought a focus and discipline to proceedings by strengthening the brief to participating manufacturers, devising a considered and appropriate data capture for all attendees and participants, and supporting this quantitative research with qualitative interviews with key clinicians and other stakeholders.
